The Out of Print anthology is a commemorative edition, curated and compiled by the publisher, Indira Chandrashekhar, for the tenth anniversary of the literary e-journal. It is an achievement indeed by a publisher who started out with a non-publishing background but has done wonderfully well through the decade, with the help of friends and well-wishers from the industry. When she began the magazine a decade ago, it was with the intention of providing space to writers from all over the world to make their voices heard. Apart from providing a platform particularly to the ‘short story, the magazine has occasionally included other short forms such as flash fiction, excerpts, and stand-alone pieces. This volume, however, focuses on short stories.
