Book Review: Sinema by Vikram Singh

Namrata reviews Sinema by Vikram Singh (Published by Speaking Tiger, 2024) calling it a rollercoaster ride through Bollywood’s underbelly

Sinema by Vikram Singh is raucous ride through the glitzy yet gritty world of Bollywood, as seen through the chaotic life of Anand ‘Andy’ Duggal. This is a laugh-out-loud, heart-pounding romp that takes readers deep into the highs and lows of a film industry legacy gone awry. It is a story that’s as unpredictable as it is entertaining!

Author Vikram Singh is a part-time filmmaker and scriptwriter, and a full-time parent and cook. He lives in Mumbai, on the edge of the mythical place called Bollywood, where he is a perennial outsider looking in. Sinema is Vikram’s debut novel.
