This poem was penned by Sheetal Soni, an advocate working in New Delhi High Court in India’s capital.
She told Kitaab how she happened to write this poem: “I came to Bihar for some client meeting and I got stuck there (in Bihar) because of the lockdown. So, one of my friends helped me with the accommodation. Being in his house and looking at the surrounding I wrote this (poem)… And I sent it to my friends’ group in whatsapp. It was there in my stories and one of (my) friends saw this and he took the screenshot and it got viral.”
We thank Sheetal for writing such an apt poem for the hard times humanity is going through and for allowing us to share it here on our channel.
