Literary News: Writing the City – Book Event and Writing Workshop

Join the editors and contributors of the Singapore at Home anthology (Kitaab, 2021) for a book reading and writing workshop.

The editors of Singapore at Home anthology (published by Kitaab, 2021) invite you to their first book event, Singapore at Home: A Writing Meditation inspired by their anthology and organized by Writing the City.

When: Saturday, 25 September
Time: 2-4 SGT.

Dr. Pallavi. Narayan and Iman Fahim Hameed will be co-hosting the event with Benedict Lim from WTC.

The WTC team suggested the theme of migration and migrants in the context of the local Singaporean landscape. The organisers have also invited Cecilia Mahendran, Rolinda Onates Espanola, Audrey Tay, and Anjali Patil to join them in reading excerpts from their stories.

WTC will share a Zoom link closer to the date.

Namrata is a published author who enjoys writing stories and think pieces on travel, relationships, and gender. She is a UEA alumnus and has studied travel writing at the University of Sydney.

She is also an independent editor and a book reviewer.
