After seeing a skin specialist about my acute urticaria at the Jingzhou General Hospital, I took an inter-city bus to Songzi. When I joined Hua waiting at the station, we left for a one-hour ride-hailing trip to Weishui Reservoir Park, the most scenic area in our native county.

As this was our first time to travel together as a tourist couple, both of us felt excited and nervous. To facilitate this two-day trip, we had to make a lot of special arrangements and tell all kinds of lies. In case we might come across some mutual acquaintances, Hua had booked a luxurious room in Holiday Inn instead of an economical one in a non-star hotel as we would have preferred.
