Artika Bakshi shares a warm and tender story about finding love and understanding the true meaning of marriage in today’s world.

“Seems like the rooh of all the tragic Punjabi heroines resides in you,” Mummy admonishes, while picking up my scattered clothes.

I am lying under my quilt, not wanting to get up.

Firstly, it’s chilling cold at this time of the year, and secondly, the meeting last night was an epic fail.

“I don’t get it, Mummy. Why don’t I get that love-wali feeling from any of the boys who I am meeting?” I mumble from under the quilt.
