The sun smiled down on Dishan with infinite malice, and the hot air baked his skin. His bike’s engine sputtered as he puttered down the bumpy road that seemed to fight him. A falling glass bottle from the terrace of an apartment building missed him by a few inches. The little green glass grenade broke into a hundred cruel children and embedded itself in his tyre and leg.
