Pallavi takes us through a fun roller coaster ride of emotions as a daughter struggles to confront the demons haunting her after her father’s death.

It was a warm night, not too cold or hot; summer was about to spread its sweltering wings. After struggling with my indolent self, I woke up to drink water; I saw that my water bottle was empty, sucked to the last drop of water by my better half, Shyam, who was asleep on the opposite side of the bed, face down. I pushed myself into the kitchen, and while filling the bottle, I heard someone talking, tittering, but no one was in the room!

I felt a chill run down my spine. This was ridiculous. I heard someone speaking. Ghost! Panicked, I dashed to my bedroom. This was the first time I had this sensation, hearing a sound in the dead of night.
