Team Kitaab is in conversation with Nelofar Currimbhoy, author of Tara: The Dream Chaser (Rupa Publications, 2025).

Nelofar Currimbhoy is a gifted writer whose vivid and evocative style has earned her acclaim from readers, critics, and the media alike. Her poetry collection Eyes of the Healer was adapted into a musical drama by Muzaffar Ali—Ananda: Eyes of the Healer—featuring Kabir Bedi as the narrator.

A graduate of Lady Shri Ram College, Nelofar later studied Beauty Therapy at ITEC, London. She currently serves as President of the Shahnaz Husain Group of Companies, playing a key role in its growth. While she oversees the national distribution network, her passion lies in the research and development wing, where she delights in reviving ancient Ayurvedic formulations to be marketed to the world.
