Among the literary luminaries who will light up the literary firmament during the Singapore Writers Festival (SWF) this year are Naomi Wolf, Raymond E. Fiest, and Karen Joy Fowler.
The organizers of Singapore Writers Festival announced this on their Facebook page today. The annual festival takes place between October 31 to November 9, 2014 in Singapore.
Naomi Wolf is at the forefront of contemporary feminist thought. She is the author of The Beauty Myth, The Treehouse, Promiscuities and Fire With Fire, and her essays have appeared in The New Republic, Esquire, Ms., The Washington Post, and The New York Times. Through her four ground-breaking books she has given voice to women of all ages, helping reveal the social myths that conspire to keep women struggling against inequality. She holds a degree from Yale University and New College, Oxford University, and lives in NYC.
