Team Kitaab is in conversation with Pakistani author Minaal Maan as a part of the South Asian Women Writers Feature.

For the whole of March, we will be featuring South Asian Women Writers on Kitaab for the whole of March. You can read the editor’s note to know more about this.

Today, we are featuring Minaal Maan, a young author and freelance journalist from Pakistan. Her novel, Our Tainted Souls is available on Amazon, Barnes& Noble as well as major bookstores across Pakistan and has stellar reviews on Goodreads.

It has also been reviewed by The Financial Daily, Bol News, and Daily Times. Her work has also appeared in publications such as The Perspective Magazine, The Desi Collective, and The Fiction Project, and she also writes regularly for Bol News, The Friday Times, The News International, and Daily Times.

Minaal mostly writes on issues of human rights and literature. Minaal has also launched her own online magazine, The Pakistan Chronicle, @thepakistanchronicle on Instagram, which focuses on fostering young emerging voices and encourages inclusivity.
