Team Kitaab is in conversation with Indian author & poet Sahana Ahmed as a part of the South Asian Women Writers Feature.

For the whole of March, we will be featuring South Asian Women Writers on Kitaab for the whole of March. You can read the editor’s note to know more about this.

Today, we are featuring Indian poet and author Sahana Ahmed based in Gurugram, India. She is the author of ‘Combat Skirts’ (Juggernaut, 2018) and the editor of ‘Amity: peace poems’ (Hawakal, 2022). Her work has been published, most recently, in The Times of India, Madras Courier and LiveWire, along with numerous anthologies.
