Team Kitaab is in conversation with Indian author & poet Sahana Ahmed as a part of the South Asian Women Writers Feature.

Today, we are featuring Indian poet and author Sahana Ahmed based in Gurugram, India. She is the author of ‘Combat Skirts’ (Juggernaut, 2018) and the editor of ‘Amity: peace poems’ (Hawakal, 2022). Her work has been published, most recently, in The Times of India, Madras Courier and LiveWire, along with numerous anthologies.

As the India Country Chair for the World Peace Wing of G100, she received the ‘Woman of the Decade’ award at the annual Women Economic Forum 2022. For more information, please visit her website:
