Team Kitaab is in conversation with Indian author Preethi Venugopala as a part of the South Asian Women Writers Feature.

Today, we are featuring Indian author Preethi Venugopala. Preethi grew up in Kerala and worked as a civil engineer for a Japanese corporation in Dubai before embarking on her writing career. She has published over 11 novels, 2 novellas, one audiobook, and over fifteen short stories on various platforms. She is associated as a writer with Storytel India, Juggernaut, Pratilipi, Notion Press, Readomania, etc.
She currently works as a Pre-med faculty at a Caribbean medical school. During her leisure time, Preethi can usually be found crocheting, indulging in reading, or binge-watching Korean Dramas. She lives in Bengaluru with her husband and son.
