Rameez gestured to the receptionist yet again questioningly. She looked at him nervously, a tint of fear in her eyes. He shrugged in frustration and frowned, “Can I come another day? It’s been an hour already.”

He was losing his patience by the minute. He was not used to waiting this long, for anyone. She was startled by his demeanour and rose to her feet.

“A few more minutes, he’ll be here anytime now.”

“That’s what you told me half an hour ago. Can’t you just postpone this?”
