Late on a June afternoon, when the sun was less miserable compared to other days, Rajani Das tramped towards the sprawling Market No. 1 of C.R. Park.

As his feet picked up pace, his nostrils flared further acting as conduits to out the pent-up wind. A visitor or two, out to enjoy a snack after their dissatisfying lunches, were caught unaware and had to make way for the crocs that thumped around as if on a hunt for toes to stamp on.
