The Story Company India announces two new workshops for writers in April.

This April, The Story Company India brings you two thoughtfully designed workshops that meet you wherever you are in your writing journey. Whether you are trying to return to the page during a difficult season or looking to sharpen your storytelling craft, there is a space here for you.

1. Writing Through Tough Times

There are seasons when life gathers weight. Care giving. Illness. Emotional exhaustion. Professional upheaval. You are living through so much that even though material is everywhere, the act of writing feels distant.

And yet, this is often when writing matters the most.

This gentle two-day workshop is designed for writers navigating difficult seasons. It is not about productivity or pushing through. It is about building a compassionate writing rhythm you can return to, even on hard days.

  • Dates: April 4 and 5
  • 11 am IST
  • 1 hour each day, online

In this workshop, you will explore
• Returning to writing without pressure
• Building a sustainable writing rhythm
• Gathering material from lived experience
• Using writing as reflection and refuge
• Creating a writing toolkit for difficult days

Workshop Fee: Rs 2,500/-

Facilitator: Archana Pai Kulkarni, writer and former magazine editor, brings a deeply compassionate approach to the craft shaped by her lived experience of caregiving and writing.


2. Writing Thrillers Beyond Tricks & Tropes
Psychology to Pitch Perfect

If you are ready to move beyond surface-level twists and write stories that truly grip, this workshop will help you build depth, voice, and narrative power.
