Conference on French writer Andre Malraux and Singapore announced
1 min readFor the commemoration of 50 years of Singapore – France relationship, M. Jean-Luc Henriot, Mdm Danièle Weiler, Akaroa French Books and the association “Amitiés Internationales AndréMalraux” – AIAM (André Malraux International Friendship) are organizing literary conferences on French writer/minister André Malraux.
Between 20 and 22 May 2015, there will be a series of literary conferences on the famous French writers and his connection with Asia, especially Singapore.
This cultural event is sponsored by Lycée Français de Singapour (French School), National Library Board, and Raffles Hotel. It is also supported by the French Embassy and Institut Français (French Institute) as part of Voilah! 2015 French Festival Singapore which, from 4 May until 21 June 2015, will display lots of various cultural, scientific and festive events.
The Malraux event is open to a large audience and will reach both the important French speaking community, through the conferences at Lycée Français (French School), and the francophile communities at National Library Building. Admission is free but registration is advised.
Renowned specialists from France, Morocco, UK and Singapore, will share their knowledge and their passion, in French and in English, during this cultural event.
The organisers said they will give away two nights in the Malraux Suite of the Raffles Hotel through our great Lucky Draw.
