Female rage representation has been a potent tool for storytelling and character development, from ancient tales and legends to current cinema and literature. For centuries women expressing their rage have been painted out to have a demonic nature. Female rage has been treated as something to be afraid of and tamed instead it is an important emotion to be acknowledged as well as understood.
