Hansa Deep’s tender portrayal of friendship beyond the boundaries of caste, creed, and colour is beautifully translated by Rajni Mishra into English.

She was running around making arrangements for the international seminar organised by her department. Representatives from many countries had come. All the boarding and lodging arrangements had been done months before. 

Today was the first day, and all the responsibilities of the first session were on Eva. Everything was going on smoothly, as planned. Only a few minutes were left to be ten o’clock. The men were in suits and ties, and the women were in colourful blazers, shaking hands with each other. They were presenting a beautiful scenario of the world-level conference. The keynote speaker had also arrived.
