Book Review: Dial 100 by Kulpreet Yadav

1 min read

Shevlin Sebastian reviews Dial 100: Tough Cases, Tougher Policemen by Kulpreet Yadav (Harper Collins, 2025), observing how the stories are heartbreaking.

Author Kulpreet Yadav focuses on seven chilling true-crime cases from all over India in his book, ‘Dial 100’. The pace is electric, and the stories are heartbreaking.

Best-selling author Kulpreet Yadav’s second true-crime book, Dial 100, begins with style: Ravi Sunderrajan took the final sip of his whisky, placed the crystal glass down, and looked around. Long-legged Indian and Eastern European hostesses were serving drinks to gamblers who were busy at different tables in the casino, their eyes focused and faces flushed. Instrumental jazz played, the air smelled of whisky with skewered meats, and expensive perfume.
