The Daily Star of Dhaka (Bangladesh) has recently brought out a special issue (Vol 11, Issue 32, Aug 10) on Eid ul fitr (Hari Raya).
Several South Asian writers have contributed to this edition such as Humayun Ahmed and Razia Sultana Khan of Bangladesh, Uzma Aslam Khan of Pakistan, Sumana Roy of India and Zafar Anjum of India/Singapore (He is also the editor of this website).
Zafar Anjum’s The Watchers‘ has been extracted from his upcoming collection of short stories, scheduled to be released in this year’s Singapore Writers Festival.
