While the news of Sunanda Pushkar’s death spread, several organsiers, authors and delegates were attending a musical soiree on the inaugural day of the Jaipur Literature Festival.Organizers confirmed that Tharoor won’t be attending the festival. Tharoor was to attend the fest from Saturday.
Tharoor was set to participate in a session ‘The Paradoxes of Growth and Development’ and was slated to launch a book titled ‘Travails with Chachi’ written by Louise Khurshid, wife of Union minister Salman Khurshid. “Now, the book launch would be done by someone else,” said an organiser.
