Singapore Book Publishers Association honours publishers and authors for outstanding work in eight categories

The Singapore Book Publishers Association (SBPA) announced the winners of the 2016 Singapore Book Awards on 11 May 2016, at a gala dinner in Hotel Rendezvous Singapore. There were eight categories for the 2016 Awards, up from six categories in 2012, to take into account the growth and development of the publishing industry during this period.

The winners of the Singapore Book Awards were selected by a panel of judges representing different sectors of the book publishing value chain, and include authors, educators, celebrities who promote reading and bookstore directors.

“I am happy that “The Search” won the Best Children’s Title,” said Denon Lim, Executive Director of Lingzi Media. “Many thanks to my editorial and production team, as well as to my author Lee Kow Fong for writing this book.”
