I was working on my last assignment on content creation. Nothing was there in the pipeline after this specific project. Nothing- how bad it feels. How insulting. How distressing. And how failing. Never in my 13 years of career as a content writer did I have a time like this, with no assignment in the pipeline.

The reality was in plain sight, I was losing my job to AI. Since February, there was already a drop in the work. This meant a drop in my income. The organizations did not need the services of human writers anymore. AI could create content in seconds. 13 years spent in refining the various aspects of writing was finally turning futile. And the worst was, that AI-driven solutions were superior to my writing in not one, but 3 distinct ways.
