Literature partnership: Glasgow & Delhi


The University of Glasgow and the University of Delhi (DU) have joined hands to teach aspects of English literature. 

Last week, Dinesh Singh, vice-chancellor, DU, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Anton Muscatelli, principal and vice-chancellor, University of Glasgow. “There are certain areas for which the English department at the University of Delhi does not have a lecturer, such as medieval and Renaissance literature, and these are strengths in our School of Critical Studies,” said Nigel Leask, Regius chair of English language and literature in Glasgow’s School of Critical Studies and a fellow of the British Academy.
