sukrita-paulSukrita Paul Kumar is a poet and critic of many years of standing. She has authored many books, including ‘The New Story’, ‘Narrating Partition and Man’, ‘Woman and Androgyny’. Formally a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, she is a recipient of a number of many prestigious residencies as a creative writer. An Honorary Fellow of Cambridge Seminars and an invited poet at the International Writing Program at University of Iowa she was also a poet in residence at the Hong Kong Baptist University. Her poetry collections include ‘Dream Catcher’, ‘Without Margins’ and ‘Folds of Silence’. Currently, she holds the Aruna Asif Ali Chair at the University of Delhi.
