About the Poet
Medha Singh is a poet, translator and editor based in New Delhi, India. Her publications include Ecdysis (Paperwall, 2017), and a book of love letters penned by Indian progressive painter Sayed Haier Raza that she translated from the French, I Will Bring My Time: Love Letters by S.H. Raza (Vadehra Art Gallery, 2020). She is Editor-in-chief at Berfrois, London. She is also on the editorial board at Freigeist Verlag, Berlin. Her work has previously appeared in Almost Island, 3:AM, Partisan Hotel, Indian Literature, Poetry at Sangam, Indian Writers’ Forum among numerous others. Her work has been anthologized in Best Indian Poetry 2018 (RLFPA Editions), The Gollancz Anthology of Speculative Poetry (HarperCollins, 2020), Contemporary Poetry by Younger Indians (Sahitya Akademi/National Academy of Letters, 2019), The Red Hen Anthology of Contemporary Indian Writing (2021), among others. She has delivered a TEDx talk on effective arguing, and was nominated for the Toto Funds The Arts Award 2019.
